What the audit checks
The audit gives an account a 0 to 100 audience quality score from up to eight public signals:
- Engagement for their size (20%). Likes, comments and shares per view, compared with accounts of a similar size.
- Follower growth pattern (20%). Overnight jumps with no viral Reel that week, and sharp drops, from our daily followers counts.
- Views per follower (15%). How many views a typical Reel gets for each follower.
- Likes per view (10%). Too few or suspiciously many both stand out.
- Comments per like (10%). Bought likes rarely bring comments. Far too many can mean comment groups.
- View consistency (10%). Real audiences make views rise and fall. Perfectly flat views, or one hit carrying everything, score lower.
- Shares and saves (10%). Where the platform shows them.
- Following vs followers (5%). A small account that follows most of its followers back looks like follow-for-follow growth.
Each signal is scored 0 to 100 and averaged by weight. Signals we can't measure for an account are left out rather than guessed, and a confidence level shows how much data the score rests on. 80 and up is Excellent, 65 to 79 Good, 50 to 64 Average, 35 to 49 Questionable, and under 35 shows signals of inflated engagement.
For accounts we have not counted in full yet, the audit falls back to a quick four-signal check: reach, engagement, posting consistency and follower momentum.
What it does not check
The score is an estimate built from public numbers. It does not look at audience age, gender or location, and it does not inspect followers one by one. Use it to shortlist accounts quickly, then look at their Reels before you sign anything.
Why these signals
Brands pay for attention. Real audiences watch, react, share and grow at a natural pace. A big follower count with weak reach, few comments and sudden follower jumps is the classic sign of an account that looks better than it performs.
